Uhh… Wow!
So, I write and sent off my first entry for the new Ars Magica PBeM (Play By Email) campaign I’m playing; Monrroyo. I’m proud of myself actually. When I say I wrote it, I mean that in the physical sense. Like with a pen. On paper. Writing, that magical activity that I haven’t done if I could avoid it in a number of years now. And I did it mostly without pain. Yay! I actually managed to get three-quarters of the way through the piece before my hand started to ache. So, the rest of the players have now met Cano (Canus Lupus being his full name, but he’s Cano to his friends), and soon their characters will too.
Also for most of last night and all of today I’ve been playing Progress Quest. Or rather, this being an essential part of how progress quest operates, I’ve been letting Progress Quest play itself. Bugger the SETI@Home analyser. This little gadget takes up a much lower bandwidth amount since it only transmits occasionally, and also a much lower processor footprint. it doesn’t even register as taking up a percentage of my processing power. I love ot sit there and watch it scroll away, killing various and sundry monsters (and the occasional underage Girl Scout for some inexplicable reason) go back ot market and sell my loot, purchase new equipment and do it all over again, fulfilling numerous quests and progressing through a series of game acts with no forseeable purpose at all.
Just like the SETI@Home analyser.

I have absolute no idea what in the hell you are raving on about.
WTF is Ars Magic? And what is that Progressquest? It’s website tells you shitall as to what it is and does. I’m completely none-the-wiser after reading this.

On the progress quest issue, that’s simply becuase you didn’t bother reading the website properly. When there’s a nice big conspicuous link that says ‘Info‘ that should really give it away to you as to where you need to go to get info on it.
And about Ars Magica, there’s a link right there in the post to the Atlas Games website which explains all about it. Try clicking. It’s a wonderful thing. And anyway, I’m entitled to a bit of raving. When you consider that what I’m raving about is not Ars Magica, but rather the fact that for the first time in years I managed ot go a piece of physical writing almost without any pain, then what I’m ‘raving’ about becuase pretty plain.

Sarcasm is the lowest form of wit buddy
I did try the Info…pretty pitiful. Then again, I was tired and couldn’t be arsed. Bleh. It’s hard to see your links against this background anyway.
What’s the deal with your hands hurting? You may have told me but meh, I can’t remember? Is it arthritis related? It would be a shit if you were a scipt writer! You should do some hand exercises, might help.

At his age, it better damn well not be arthritis. Yucko.
I call the hand-exercises, and raise you some wrist stretches. The way you write, you probably have some muscular imbalances in your wrist that contribute to the problem. Do you have dumbbells or other weights at home anywhere? Light ones, no more than five pounds — we want to strengthen your hands, not tear them to pieces.

Back up a post. Read that. It’s in there. And frankly, if you’re not going to be arsed reading things properly or trying to understand, don’t bother commenting, because if you don’t make the effort your comments are likely to be worth squat.
